Articles about avast’s free review windows
Avast has an active and large user base, and offers an array of powerful tools. Installation is smooth and straightforward and you’re not pushed into upgrading to an upgrade to a premium subscription (although a full scan does significantly impact performance). The main interface is simple and sleek design, with an integrated button for scanning and secure file sharing platforms icons that clearly show the various parts of the suite. Unfortunately, a desire to minimise the number of options available on display has also resulted in some features being hidden within the Explore tab and the gray-on-white text could be difficult for people with impaired vision. The free suite is paid for by ads and offers the option of installing partner software.
